This year’s Birthday Party for Jesus will be Virtual Party on Sunday, December 6. Here is a message from Eryn Myers telling us how we can help our children and participate in a very special project.
This year the Downtown churches have come together to spotlight foster families. Each church is collecting donations to help local foster agencies. For each donation received, a luminary will be lit in front of a Downtown church the night of Sunday December 6.
As part of our virtual Birthday Party for Jesus, we are collecting new children’s pajamas for IAMJ3. We invite all of our church members to join us! IAMJ3 is a local agency that serves foster families in Davidson County. Your donation of a new pair of pajamas (or a donation of $5) will sponsor a luminary that will be lit on Sunday evening Dec. 6. Gather your family Sunday night and take a ride around downtown and see all the luminaries lit in front of the downtown churches!
Drop off a new pair of pajamas for the IAMJ3 ministry in the basket on the back porch of the fellowship hall any time before Saturday Dec. 5 at 3:30 p.m. Donations can be sent to the church office or delivered in person to the fellowship hall back porch on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 2-3:30 p.m.
