Friends,
This Sunday, Mother’s Day, will be a very special day of worship at First Baptist Church. Tim Michael will provide our pre-service music beginning at 10: 40 a.m..
At the 11 a.m. service we will dedicate Samuel Phillips who was born on Saint Patrick’s Day.
Jen Fuller-Allen will have our children’s time with a special Mother’s Day Theme.
Kacie Beck, who has just completed her first year of college, will share about a very special project at Kamp Kiwanis.
Jackson McCarthy, who graduated from Furman last weekend, will be back home and is singing for us Sunday! That will be a special gift for all of us!
The choir will sing a beautiful Mother’s Day Anthem—“A Home of Grace.”
I’m looking forward to preaching this Sunday—my sermon is “Momma Always Said . . .” based on John 2: 1-11 and Isaiah 49: 8-16.
Don’t miss this special time of worship as we gather together as the family of God at First Baptist Church. If you are unable to be at church Sunday, we are live at 11 a.m. on WLXN radio (1440-AM, 99.9 FM) and you can stream us on the WLXN website.
I look forward to seeing you Sunday!
Grace and Peace,
Ray
23 Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
