DIRECTOR POSITION OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT

The Martha Best Children’s Center (MBCC) and First Baptist Church of Lexington, NC are seeking applicants for the position of Director of the facility. MBCC is a long established childcare facility with a history of quality childcare for children of Lexington and Davidson County, NC. MBCC
provides full daycare services, after school care (Grades K-5) and a half-day nursery school (ages 2-5).

The Director of MBCC would need to provide leadership of the programs and a staff of 25 people. The Director would be responsible for administrative duties, training and directing staff, and financial affairs with a yearly budget of $600,000.

A Bachelor’s degree and leadership skills related to childcare are preferred. Prior childcare experience will be considered. An applicant must be able to complete the state required certification requirements for a childcare director and a complete background check.
