Welcome New Business Administrator

We welcome Jim Skotthy as our new part-time Business Administrator. Jim was recommended for the position by the Personnel Committee and approved by the Deacons. He brings a wealth of experience in administration and finances to us.

Jim started as Business Administrator on June 26 and will announce office hours soon.

Our thanks go to Phil Mickey and Jim Tate who served as interim administrators during the past year.

Job Announcement: Part-time Church Administrator

The Personnel Committee is seeking candidates for the position of Church Administrator. This permanent, part-time position oversees the financial operations of the church, supervises the front office and its staff, and manages the church facility and custodial staff.

Interested candidates should submit their resume and statement of interest to the church office by mail or email at fbclexington@fbclex.org. Resumes will be accepted through March 15, 2017.

Annual Church Meeting Next Sunday

The Annual Church Meeting has been moved to next Sunday, August 30 at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We were unable to have the meeting this past Wednesday due to not having a quorum. We will be voting on the 2015-2016 Nominating Committee report.

the purchase of a new vehicle. In the parking lot facing 4th Avenue we have a vehicle
for you to see that would be similar to the one that we are planning to purchase.

New Phone System

In December of 1996 from a generous donation we installed our current phone system. With the advances in technology and many changes we are not only updating our phone system, we are making major changes. In the coming weeks we will switch from analog phone system to VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) system. Mainly everything will now be done over the internet.

Once we complete the change over, the current Information Line – 249-3224 will no longer exist. To access the Information Line you will call the main number 249-9158 and you will then have the option to hear the Information Line or place your call to the Church office.

The number for the Church 249-9158 will remain, the fax number 249-4762 will remain, and the MBCC number 248-6924 will remain.
