One of the best

As Ray would say:  “Oh My!”  Arguably, its one of the best anthems yet at FBC!  Listen in and judge for yourself.  At or around the 17:25 minute mark is the anthem.

And if that wasn’t enough, after all of the rain we have been having, the sunlight came through the Sanctuary to bless us with an excellent visual.

What’s your thoughts?  One of the best?

Thanks goes to the FBC Choir as well as the FBC Audio-Visual Team!

Finale to Family Night, fall 2014

The stage was packed with gifts for the Salvation Army’s children.  Mrs. Gayle’s handmade Christmas ornaments adorned the tree.  The food was delicious.  The fellowship was warm and inviting.

The end of Family Night in the fall also marks the time for the Children and Youth to perform their music.  As usual,  the Children and the Youth, led by their respective Musical Conductors, did an outstanding job!

Take note of the last picture in this slideshow: you will view an up and coming member of the Children’s Choir dancing in the aisle.  This Family Night was truly a uplifting gateway  for the Christmas season!

Family Night, part 2. Fall 2014

Family night’s program for the 2014 kickoff was a showcase of four musically talented FBC members:  Paul, Brannon, Brian and Alan.  Teacher and students.  Bass guitar, lead and rhythm guitars, drums, saxophone with each musician displaying multiple instrument talents.

The songlist was that of vintage, easy listening, rock n roll:  James Taylor, The Byrds, Van Morrison, and The Beatles just to name a few.

See the photo recap below.

Well done FBC!  Welcome Back!  And if you weren’t there, we missed you!
