12-09-2018 Cancelled Services

We always regret anytime we cannot meet for worship, especially at the season of Advent.   But we are under a Winter Storm Warning, law enforcement is advising not to travel Sunday, the Governor has issued a State of Emergency and we are looking at a potentially historic snowfall for December–we really don’t have a choice.

All services tomorrow plus all children’s and youth activities are cancelled.

Sunday morning at 11 a.m. you can listen to last year’s worship service from the Second Sunday of Advent on the radio.

If you have not turned in your Salvation Army Christmas Angel, please contact Kathy Hinkle.  Chances are the church offices will not open Monday and we need to coordinate a way to get your angels to the Army.

Don’t forget that we will be packing food boxes on Wednesday.  Trucks are needed at Food Lion (Talbert Blvd) at 9 a.m. and volunteers in the fellowship hall at 10 a.m.

Please take good care, stay warm, and be safe!

Christmas Lights update

Change in Christmas Lights!

Sunday Night Rather Than Monday!

Monday’s weather does not look good, so we are inviting the children to come to our house SUNDAY NIGHT, December 21st, rather than Monday.  Come anytime from sunset to 8:00 p.m.  Please bring a flashlight to walk down the drive.  We will have hot chocolate and cookies.  We hope the children can come and see our lights!
