Bible Study Opportunities

There are several great opportunities for Bible Study each week for the First Baptist Family. Bible Study begins each Sunday with our Sunday School classes. We have a number of outstanding classes to choose from. The Monday night/Tuesday morning Bible Study begins in the Fellowship Hall on September 24 & 25. Dr. Howell will be teaching the early chapters of Genesis. The Monday night class is at 7 p.m. and Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m.

Dr. Howell will also teach a 4 part Bible Study on Messianic Prophecy on Wednesday nights, September 19, October 3 & 10, and November 28. Men are invited to the Men’s Bible Study at the YMCA each Thursday morning at 7 a.m. Women are invited to the Women of the Word at First Presbyterian Church Monday nights and Tuesday mornings beginning September 10 & 11. And our FBC Women’s Fellowship will meet again on Saturdays, September 29 and October 27 at 9:30 a.m. You can also find many excellent Bible Studies on Right Now Media.

Tony Cartledge to Visit Next Sunday

Sunday school classes are invited to a joint session in the fellowship hall next Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m.. Dr. Tony Cartledge will share different resources for Sunday school and Bible Study.

Tony is a former pastor and editor of the Biblical Recorder. He is now a professor at Campbell University Divinity School and is contributing editor and writer of the Nurturing Faith Journal and Bible Studies.

Amtrak to visit our nation’s capital with a focus on religious liberty.
