Lenten Services

Lenten Services Begin this Week. Community Lenten Services begin at noon this Wednesday at First United Methodist Church. A lunch of soup and sandwich will follow the service each week for $5.00. We need volunteers to help with the March 15th service which will be the Wednesday the Baptists are in charge.

Chili Cook-off Youth Fundraiser Reservations can be purchased for the Youth Chili Cook-off. We also need volunteers to make chili and desserts. Adults are $8.00, children $6.00 with a $25.00 family limit.

Rescheduled Event

Path of Hope, a local non-profit agency for alcohol and drug addiction treatment was to have used FBC’s Fellowship Hall on February 7 for a chili cook-off fundraiser. The group has rescheduled the event until Friday, February 24. They are trying to get the word out of the re-scheduling. They did this because of FBC’s…
